These are AOL Instant Messenger buddy icons.
To install: Very simply, just click on the icon you want to use and it will ask "Are you sure that you wish to change your personal buddy icon?" Click "Okay" and it will magically appear. However, you need to be logged onto AIM for it to work.
If for some reason that doesn't work, here's the other way to install the icons:
Choose "My AIM" from the menu at the top of the program.
From there, choose "Edit Options" and "Edit Preferences".
Choose "Buddy Icons" from the left frame in the window that pops up.
Then just browse your hard drive until you find the icon you want to use.
